School Ethos

It is not surprising that the research evidence shows that pupils who enjoy coming to school and feel that they are loved and valued make better progress in their learning than otherwise.  The happiness, welfare, care and academic progress of the children are at the centre of all we do.

Visitors to the school comment on children's happy, smiling faces, their kind and considerate behaviour, and their excellent attitudes to their work.  Strong pastoral systems, combined with staff who give the pupils care, guidance and support  they need as they develop and mature, ensure that pupils succeed academically and grow up to be well-rounded people.
